HIGHLIGHTS

The Working Islands system is an innovative concept which restricts replacement to the site where procedures are performed.

The system reduces the size and weight of parts, thus making prices more affordable and replacement quicker, enabling more students to perform procedures within the same timeframe. Additionally, all parts have a layer of artificial skin that realistically responds to handling, cutting and suturing.

PROCEDURES

Each Working Island has its own features that follow the different layers of the human body, thus enabling the practice of different procedures.

REPLACEMENT KITS

The Working Islands are sold in two different kits.

• KIT 56

A kit containing 56 disposable parts. It enables up to 16 students to perform all procedures, in addition to making incisions and sutures at the working sites.

• KIT 40

A kit containing 40 disposable parts. It enables up to 16 students to perform the following procedures: cricothyroidotomy by puncture and surgery, thoracic puncture (thoracocentesis) and pleural drainage, in addition to incisions and sutures at the working sites.
